Greene County High School Scholars participated in Dual Enrollment Day at Wallace Selma-Demopolis Campus.
The Future Teachers Of America-Greene County High School and Greene County Career Center Chapters attended the (FTA) state conference at Auburn University, toured Auburn University in Montgomery and visited Moton Field in Tuskegee.
Held at GCCC and powered by Skilled Trades of West Alabama, this transformative program is equipping individuals with the tools, training, and confidence needed to launch successful careers in the construction industry. Join us in celebrating this amazing group of future builders, electricians, welders, and more who are ready to take on the world with purpose and power!
Seniors at Greene County High School participated in WOW 2.0 at the TCTA. WOW 2.0 is a partnership between West AL Works and local businesses and industries that provide employment opportunities for graduating seniors.
Our seniors are getting ready for the upcoming WorkKeys test on March 10th, and we’re grateful to have Chante Myles-Rice, Founder of C&J Resources, LLC, leading an engaging study session to help them succeed!

We are thrilled to share that six outstanding students from our Marketing Department represented Greene County Career Center DECA at the Alabama DECA State Career Development Conference in Montgomery on February 24-25!
On February 3rd, Jobs for Alabama's Graduates (JAG) students at GCCC attended the JAG Central District Career Development Conference. several students competed in the JAG Knowledge Bowl and won 1st Place.
Greene County High School honors our 2nd Nine Weeks Honor Roll, Perfect Attendance, and Star Students! We are so proud of each of our students! An education at Greene County High School is the key to opening many doors of success!
